I had a pair of these until recently, stashed away. They were insanely puffy.
The fact it said “THESE TWATS WILL SURVIVE AN ACID WAR” inside the tongue is not only incredible, it is also likely true.

Long gone I’m afraid. It’s the Christian ‘Pirate Man’ Hart pro deck. He loves a Hi Tec. Those squash ones are his favourite skate shoe.

I’ve never had any Globe shoes but I wouldn’t mind trying the Appleyard sometime for a bit of a change up.
Weirdly, I had a couple of pairs of the Mark Occhilupo pro surfer Globe shoe.
It was about 2004ish…and was the only shoe in their line which wasn’t a moon boot.
Really good to skate in…
Funny that their most skateable shoe was a surfers pro model.
I think quite a few or their team skated them mainly around then as globe just struggled to adapt to the new Vulc-led world.
I’ve got 6 pairs of those now. 5 black, one white… probably will bag another white pair from Decimal later today

You say that these are puffy now, but back then they were quite minimal for a cupsole. I’d imagine they’re similar to the Es Accel.

Precisely this! I used to love the Swift, but the Quattro is the one for me. The sole lasts ages whilst filming, too.
