Lol if the model looks that bad I dread to think how anyone else is gonna look in that gear.
Yes indeed. Hence posting this in the shoe thread.
Lolz, people will buy any old shit
Hopefully whilst not filming too.
It does. I ended up getting another pair from Decimal.
They need to get them on their site
This always gets me…Vans, Nike (before they dumped everyone) and Globe all have surf teams.
Why?
OG lifestyle influencers?
Nike did?
I remember the first year of Nike Snow and SS20 was the only U.K. shop to get it. People drove from silly places to try boots on and buy ones that 100% did not fit.
Surf shops in beach areas can still shift some volume I bet.
Yeah, we were talking about it on here the other day.
Nike moved all of their surf team to Hurley - a subsidiary of Nike Inc - in 2012, claiming they’d done them a favour in finding them new homes…and then Hurley fired a shitload of them 6 months down the line catching the flak for it all.
Makes sense…if you owned Nike and Hurley and needed one to look bad, you wouldn’t need to think for a second about which one you were going to be looking out for.
Ah thanks, they don’t show up under Brands > eS - site needs some jiggery pokery. Sadly not my size anyway!
Bummer. I was going to say that the leather ones feel quite stiff at first and take a couple of days to wear in.
Has there ever been a shoe colab with a tv show or film that is remotely wearable?
Anything with Snoopy or Charlie Brown on, duh!
Ah wait got my daughter some toy story vans that were bangin.
The Extreme Channel and everyone’s favourite school shoe brand Clarks have teamed up to make a “multi-sport” shoe… Primarily being advertised as a shoe for skateboarding and BMXing. I think they look like a poor hybrid of Puma, Adidas, Lakai and Vans?
I have to be honest, I think that’s a pretty functional looking shoe, and looks good in a utilitarian way.
