Shoes

Good point, I expect stuff to be on sale now.

I remember like all Circas in prime time were like 70 quid minimum but pro shoes in 05 that were starting to get less tech, were 50-60?

It seems all pro shoes are near on a ton now.

I remember when raw thunders and ventures were 35 quid at slam and now they must be getting close to nearly double that

Dunno what shoes you’re looking at that are near a ton? Just googled Tyshawn and Busenitz and they’re £75, and Janoski’s are £65… although if you google Janoski first thing you see is £25, £35, £40… and same for Busenitz… I think maybe sell through was better BITD?! I haven’t paid full price for shoes for years and years!

That Adi 3st??? is 99.99

Yeah, the 3ST.004 was £100. Well worth it though.

Is it the photo or do they just lose their shape the first time you wear them?

Kalis, dc legacy all tipping 100 RRP most likely due to smaller quantities being made.

That Adidas that’s a 100 probably has more production in it than booze n tits shoe that’s Maas made.

I still don’t see how an old skool or a janoski can warrant like 50-65 quid just on the amount that are made let alone getting nothing as far as a shoe goes

Definitely the photo. These are sturdy. But soft.

So thats £300 worth of shoes you’ve get there?! This isn’t the norm though is it, I’d still say the average is £65-70…

Yeah, £70’s probably a realistic average, I think.

The Adidas tyshawn shoe is not worth £100. New Balance 420/440 both better shoes with more tech that will last longer before getting holes in them…and they come in at £65.

How does everyone feel about this for as-near-as-makes-no-difference £85 then?

Just sold an old World tee for £88 so might get a pair.

That Boost cushioning though. They’re one of the comfiest skateboard shoes ever.

I’m not massively into cushioning tbh. The Vans ultracush is technically amazing but it’s too much for me. Something to dissipate heel pressure is good but I don’t believe there’s a real need for mega squishy shit.

Not about skating air bubble shit. I’ve owned one pair of vulcs to see what the fuss was about, hated them for everything except kickflips and miniramp. Made my ollie feel sketchy and that’s not cool

Pretty sure these won’t cost 24.99

I’ve been wearing a pair of the Adidas Lucas Puig for work for the past 6 months and they are by far the most comfy shoe I think I’ve ever worn (even more so than the Adio Sumner, the only shoe I remember for it’s comfyness 16 years later).

I don’t know what they’ve got in the soles re cushioning - it doesn’t feel like much, but’s its great.

Yeah but at least one of the best skaters of the 2000s got so rich that he stopped skating.
