Slightly different if you’re actually on the same company I’d say, that said those weren’t popular at all were they?

Nope, never saw anyone with them. I nearly got them as I thought they were an interesting iteration of the AM90 then I thought ‘what the hell am I doing I don’t want these’ and bailed on them

Yeah I was exactly the same with the Huarache ones, they did become very cheap though.

If you’re going to do a shoe like that, it has to be priced well and it has to be good for most people. If the ams and flows are getting sent them then people will see them out in the wild and want them. If you price them as though they are a technically advance super shoe then you have to aim for a different audience but they don’t want an average looking skateshoe.

Most expensive shoe I’ve owned was probably a pair of Circas back in about 2003, red and silver, built like absolute tanks, full length air sole the works. Convinced my mum to drop £75 on them with the argument that they’d last twice as long as a cheaper pair, which to be fair they did but only because they were entirely rubber.

As an adult I wouldn’t pay more than £65 for a pair of trainers now - usually grab a pair for about £50 in a sale, like these Adidas - though, I might make an exception because I really fancy a pair of high tech NB’s at be the Westgate.

Not sure if most expensive but I did own a pair of D3’s for a month. Lost most of my flip tricks thanks to those twunts and had to start again in some banged up old shoes untill I could blag my “new” shoes were toast

i bought some of those 420s a few months ago when someone posted a half price link in here… i’ve had a few pairs of nb’s as chillers now and couldnt imagine ever even contemplating skating in them, so chunky and horrible feel like i’m wearing lead weights on my feet

Yeah the 420 is a bit marmite but you have the 440 as a more mainstream alternative at the same price. Dunno about the lead weights comment though that sounds weird coz they’re really light.

Not sure what you’re used to but I love my 420’s, I wouldn’t skate them either but that’s just because I don’t think they’d last that long, far too much mesh on them.

Which is the PJ model?

There’s a pyjama night slipper?

Exceptional beard.

Seem to remember someone saying he says he grew it out as it helps balance sensitivity or something??

These actually look ok as long as you never skate in them
