Yeah, they are very Vans like in the sense that they make a full range of shoes. Or Cons as someone mentioned earlier.
But Cons is a bit different is it isn’t a skate shoe brand primarily.

Yes, there are nice shoes coming out every week.
I just bought some snow boots. There’s a product that Vibram make called ‘Arctic Grip’ which is supposed to be stupidly good for walking on ice (which I do a lot here, and it’s scary and dangerous at best of times). So I searched high and low to find a decent looking pair of boots with this special sole on it, that are also insulated.
They should be delivered today or tomorrow. I’ll post pics if anyone is interested but I warn you they are proper dad boots/hypebeast repellers and I give zero fucks as I confidently march across icy puddles whilst you nurse your broken wrists in your shit red Wings/yeezys/whatevers

I grabbed some of these on recommendation from a couple of people outside of Soletech. Sultan SCW.
I’ve only walked to the pub in them but can confirm that my feet were warm and dry all the way there and back.

I got a pair of these recently - I was out in the rain last night in them and they worked well. I have a few pairs of Etnies winterized/weatherized shoes over the past few years (Jeffersons and Jamesons too) and they seem to be making solid improvements with comfort, feel, etc. Once the grip pattern faces out like a winter boot is the main thing.
