Shoes

This could be really sick or awful.

I’d be interested to see if he gets a pro shoe and what it’d be like, his Supra’s weren’t the best but didn’t stink either and the LV shoe he was involved with was just a copy of that old Spectre 2 model. I imagine a Palace collab with his name on would sell pretty well.

Stinky. Dad tennis trainers. Maybe there’s a point where you’re so good at skating that you don’t care what’s on your feet and you could rip with clogs on so you’ll do whatever the company says.

It’s pretty much the exact opposite of that in reality. The 1010 was already designed when Tiago signed for NB and he took it on as his pro model. The new shoe is the one he has been involved with and is kind of the shoe he would have had if he’d stuck with DC.

Maybe, but that stinks

They look like some early 2000’s globe shoes.

Or like a late 90s DC. Not a fan of those side panels - they don’t look very NB.

I’ve seen them and they are sick, lots of colourways coming. Yeah I agree they’re not very NB, they’re very DC inspired.

Any other pics of those NBs?

I’m into them, I think they’ll look much better on foot as well.

…and it looks like they’re only going to push more dad tennis shoe models out:

Tried these on the other day they’re pretty fresh.

I like the 1010’s but find the toe quite tight out of the box. Assume they’ll break in nicely though.

Sometimes three pairs isn’t enough

Sixteen pairs of Tyshawns here.

Yeah I have the white and gum 1010s and they are lovely. I didn’t know that the shoe was already done when he joined though. Isn’t there’s video about him being involved in the design process and skating some hideous prototypes?

Sounds like the same kind of deal with Shanahan and DC where he was running those Tribekas all the time

I don’t think those are “dad” any more. I’m a little worried that wearing low profile vulc shoes like vans or Janoskis with normal/slimmer fitting jeans is what dad is now. I’m not even a dad so this scares me.

Soon there will be a generation of ex skateboarders (and all the normals that ended up dressing like skateboarders) hosing down their caravans on the driveway, or mowing the lawn in that steez, while the yoot all bowl around in massive lawn bowling shoes and baggy 90s jeans. “Nu-dad”. It’s already happening, we need to accept it.
