These rumours have been going on for years, everyone said Skate Mental was Nike money when it first started, ect… like it says Nike compete with big companies including adidas daily, so the likes of Lakai aren’t going to worry them. Doesn’t Nike own Cons? If so that shows how much the person spreading this really knows about the shoe game.

Yeah it’s the same guy.
From what I understand, he was ‘let go’ rather abruptly from nike during the period where tons of people lost their jobs with little to no warning.
He posted a few things about feeling hard done to (must’ve been on serious loot in that job) before setting up an agency and ‘putting together the SKF bearings team’ whatever that means and now working with ASICS.
I guess once you’ve been a shoe guy on that level, other brands want you.

A few of Gino’s shoe collabs are with his shop not him directly too. Poets x Nike, ect… so it looks like loads.
It does kind of look odd that he’s gone from Poets x NIke to Poets x adidas to Poets x NB but on the other hand I don’t really expect collabs per se to be that thought out any more. It’s just whatever sells as you say.

Pretty sure he’s skating in Asics in the video which seemed very odd to me. I guess it’s not a collab with Gino, more one with his brand but even so.
Pretty sure Anon said it either on here or on the Skate Creative Pod. Reality is anyone would want to do things him regardless of his output cause like it or not he is cool as fuck.
