I got the 2020 sals , still got a box fresh pair in the cupboard. Same sole as the accel slims .
I’m sure I had a 2020 pair with 23 on the side but they had to change it to ES not long after . I could be wrong .

OG’s had triangles for grip.
My favourite ones ever were the tan with black cup and gum sole. can’t find a pic.

These are the 2020 SALs. I think your ones might be earlier…Maybe.
Both are slimmer than the original.
I was part of the crew figuring out some of the SAL timeline, but it only really concerned the 90s…It just seems like different versions of the SAL23 or the SLB have reappeared every few yerars and everytime are different with the same shoe releasing on two brands, at times.
Really odd.
Not quite as odd as the Accel OG not actually being the OG and then the OG-OG is being released again, just as the ‘Accel’ whilst the OG stays in line…as the Accel OG. Despite not being the OG.

I’ve skated every Accel, must have had hundreds of pairs and i’m still confused. I kept nearly every broken board I had and shoe through the early, mid ninetees, I wish I kept them in a weird way.
I’ll explain when I’m not out skating. If anyone cares.

I had no idea Kelly Hart was on the team, rather than being a brand ambassador or something. I thought he worked there, rather than actually skated for them.

Yeah, Sole Tech hasn’t existed since June 2024.

Asta always seemed like a weird fit on éS, but that’s because I always picture him as the smaller Chris Cole he was during the Ride The Sky era.
Having said that I’ve just looked it up and I must’ve Mandela Effected a memory of him in Ride The Sky because he’s not in it. Gilbert Crockett was though and that’s weird to think about.

Damn, that means the one skate shoe i’ve really got on with lately is no more (the Joslin) - Thought it was weird the shoes weren’t getting updated on the Etnies site and online stock was pretty poor
