Watched both episodes. Wow. It’s put together so well, and looks/feels great.
Ewan is such a boss. My only gripe is that they could have moved things along a little quicker, but that’s always the same for the series format like this.
I couldn’t put my finger on it last night but something was bugging me about Leia, and there it was sat in front of me at breakfast… she just seemed far to young to be a ten year old, as my nine year old daughter and ten year old son chatted away…
I think that was just an intruder alert made up from a random R2 unit to give you Return of the Jedi flash backs (when R2D2 falls off Jabba’s barge, like Leia getting the other girl to dress up as her, having Padmé and her decoy vibes).
Just watched it and great gritty feeling to it like madalorian and boba.
Wonder if The third sister is one of the 5 Jedi children in the recap in the beginning. Would make sense from all the gutter talk . Feel like she’s gonna turn good eventually.
Shame flea had a short run, he’s great as a bad guy.
Good to see some bounty hunters back in the show too.
Only disappointing part at the end , third sister should have easily jumped on that ship with her powers and opened it up like a tin can.
But that would be too easy .
Also makes sense that Obi-Wan only introduces himself as Ben, as Leia talks about Obi-Wan serving with her father in the Clone Wars on the R2D2 message in a New Hope and not about rescuing her … but does name her son Ben after the Jedi that rescued her as a child. Who I’m sure she later learnt was Obi-Wan from Luke.
Plus Obi-Wan says ‘I don’t ever remember owning a droid?’ about R2, why I never thought it could be him in the sand. Plus her adoptive mother must be getting killed off at some point in this too, with what we already know.
Could be one with a fight between him and Vader… maybe when Obi-Wan needs help the most and all hope seems lost, he pops up, making Vader remember himself as a child, which gives Obi-Wan time to escape… as Vader knows how to become a force ghost with no other knowledge of it or training that we know of.
