This year has been pretty shit (obviously) but I’m ending it in a good place, got a load of Christmas food in, Ive finished my proper job and only got one shift for my parttime job tonight then Im done for the year.
I got laid off in July because of Covid but had two months off then got a better job that Im much happier in and is closer and has a noticeable reduction in workplace bellends. So overall, pretty stoked
I had the pleasure of filming some pretty good stuff over the weekend. Can’t wait for people to see this Decimal video. We’re going to release it in October next year to coincide with the shop’s 16th.
People seem to think Waitrose is crazy prices. Ok they’re not cheap but I’ve seen a few of those supermarket bag of groceries comparisons and Tesco and Morrison’s come out more expensive on occasions. Besides, Waitrose is a nicer shopping experience than the others, at least where I am, which is why I used to get pretty much everything from them pre Covid disaster. I have only been to the shops three times since March. Fully backing Able and Cole deliveries, (nice selection, some oddities and mostly uk based produce). Between them and the local fishermen, farm shop, baker, and (irritatingly hipster) coffee shop, I can have all I need delivered. I get Smol and Splosh cleaning products and Bella and Duke dog food delivered too. No need to go shopping anymore.
I’ve been back at my parents 2 hours, managed to make it out of disease city via a long car journey. Already been to Booths for some fancy cheese and a few beers
