Stoked!

This year has been pretty shit (obviously) but I’m ending it in a good place, got a load of Christmas food in, Ive finished my proper job and only got one shift for my parttime job tonight then Im done for the year.

I got laid off in July because of Covid but had two months off then got a better job that Im much happier in and is closer and has a noticeable reduction in workplace bellends. So overall, pretty stoked

I had the pleasure of filming some pretty good stuff over the weekend. Can’t wait for people to see this Decimal video. We’re going to release it in October next year to coincide with the shop’s 16th.

Same, I expected chaos but it was great, loads of food!

Got a pork loin and a chicken and a whole lobster and a whole wheel of brie and a bunch of box-wines.

Food shortage my arse.

Clearly by your supermarket choice.

I’m at my Mums and she shops there all the time.

I went panic buying up all the nearly out of date things in morrisons last night. Now I’ve got a fridge full of cheap scotch eggs and sausages rolls.

I’m all about the Waitrose here, we have figured out the times they reduce stuff every day, got a freezer full of 40p salmon fillets.

I just told my mum that, she’s saying 2.30-3.30pm. Obviously on the same hype hahahhh.

People seem to think Waitrose is crazy prices. Ok they’re not cheap but I’ve seen a few of those supermarket bag of groceries comparisons and Tesco and Morrison’s come out more expensive on occasions. Besides, Waitrose is a nicer shopping experience than the others, at least where I am, which is why I used to get pretty much everything from them pre Covid disaster. I have only been to the shops three times since March. Fully backing Able and Cole deliveries, (nice selection, some oddities and mostly uk based produce). Between them and the local fishermen, farm shop, baker, and (irritatingly hipster) coffee shop, I can have all I need delivered. I get Smol and Splosh cleaning products and Bella and Duke dog food delivered too. No need to go shopping anymore.

Waitrose rammed earlier but still had everything. Apart from Christmas puddings.

Are you trying to say Boots?
The chemist.

Booths it’s sort of the northern Waitrose.

Yeh we don’t get waitrose up here. In Cumbria and Lancashire you get Booths.

This north south divide is tearing us apart!

We’ve got Waitrose AND Boots here.

Going half retard in Waitrose Is like £100.

I bet you did at least 3 :joy:

Was trying to explain Booths to someone the other day and this is the exact comparison I used

I’ve been back at my parents 2 hours, managed to make it out of disease city via a long car journey. Already been to Booths for some fancy cheese and a few beers
