Stoked!

Physio this morning. No more appointments and….mostly…better now.

Time to get back on a skateboard.

Just got back from 2 days in France.

Weight yesterday at 9am: 96.1 kilos
Weight tonight: 98.1 kilos

It was kinda hot but not crazily hot. 27ish degrees.

I drank various local craft beers, a cocktail called Forrest which was pretty decent, some bootleg schnapps with a fucking viper in the bottle (the viper is drowned in the bottle then releases its venom which adds a special flavor to the booze, pretty gnarly and not really cool for the snake in my opinion but I have to try everything local when I’m traveling) and some very very very average red wine.

I went to a cheese shop and got various things, including some Shropshire Blue.

Double espresso and a marlboro red should sort that out

It’s gonna be a cuppa Earl Grey or English Breakfast and a rollie but yeah, hopefully it’ll do the trick!

Burner account because it’s not official and early days but its looking like my wife is pregnant and I’m shit at keeping secrets so hopefully this will scratch the itch until we can properly tell people. See you in the parenting thread in a while hopefully.

Haven’t even been that lucky!

Stuck in the infinite Ticketmaster time warp.

I haven’t tried tbh. Was pinning my hopes on Glastonbury (own sofa, pause button for toilet breaks & other old man comforts) but that’s been scuppered…

Yeah and they were never, ever going to reform again last month too. Got to keep the tour hype alive first. I’d say this isn’t a one and done deal.

It was relatively straightforward getting tickets last night so thought be the same this morning. Apparently not.
Couple people fuming because I posted that I got some on my ig. Usually don’t bother with the cmoac posts but my nephew didn’t believe me.
Feel like a bit of a cnut now.

Got the early tickets to first Manchester show last night. Absolutely buzzing. Was a hard graft tho had a few devices on the go:

It’s got to the point where cover bands will do a better job than they will so go see Noasis or the equivalent.
I get that they had 2 big albums and caused a big movement for sure, even though I reluctantly say that. If I heard any tunes from said 2 albums I would even half enjoy them and admit their modern classic nature but come on? clambering to pay that much to see them perform the same old hits (because lets face it, they’re the only ones you want to hear) and just stand there, knowing you have payed that much to see them, The ego’s all pumped up… god it’s unbearable to imagine.

Cover bands are better than seeing the actual people that wrote and recorded the songs? Come on now. Watching the original band play shit is still better than watching a knock off play half decent.
Hang-out with a pro skater you like having a bad session or the local town hero killing it for the day? I didn’t know songs and albums had expiry dates on being liked too? Do you just bin all your music after two years and start again with only new stuff?

I’m not the biggest Oasis fan by any means but you’re talking bollocks, haha.

I’ve just notice you’re enjoying watching some Fake Taxi while waiting, haha…

I’ll be seated knowing I ‘payed’ that much.

I would go to see them but not for £300. £75 maybe. Should have gone in 90-whatever. I’ll live.
