Yeah they show up thinking it’s gonna be well AmĆ©lie and it’s just aggressive, arrogant people and dog shit everywhere. A strike or a bomb threat as a bonus if you’re lucky.

Had to take my car in for a recall on the dpf today. Luckily it was at a garage just around the corner from rollersnakes. Had a chin wag and a couple of hours rolling around, then went to the cinema to wath One Battle after another. Really enjoyed it.

Car is now fixed but apparently the brakes need doing. Oh well. Thats a problemfor another day.

If you don’t know already and I’m sure you do a handy hint is that you can finger in the air how many miles left before you have to change…miles currently on the brakes vs estimated percentage left. So brakes with 50k on them @ 70% worn give you roughly 15k remaining before they’re really fucked, providing you don’t change driving style or mileage

Which has reminded my I need to check the brakes on my Mrs’ car, thanks.

I thought brake pads started to rumble before they completely wore through? And it’s built in, not to damage the discs, but to ā€œfeelā€ different so it gives you a heads up before they go

Discs on my RAV4 are warped, really shudders on hard braking. Don’t even have a driveway to change them on :sob:

Set up a kid with a Christmas complete today. He came in with his mum and brother. I asked him a few questions then laid out his options and he went away with a rad set up. He was buzzing when he left!

His mum made him stand for a picture and said she would recommend us etc on social media. So I think they left having a great experience that they’ll remember.

Got tickets for the final Wu Tang tour in Manchester next year, right by the stage. The review from America have been amazing, with the full group plus cameos from Slick Rick, Redman, Big Daddy Kane etc. Not sure the extras will travel to UK but :crossed_fingers:t2:.

I’m tempted if this is the last ever chance to see them, but I’d likely be going on my own.

I go to gigs on my own all the time, but standing feels less weird than sitting in a seat on my tod for some reason

Where? I’ll go with you

My mates daughter got tickets for Manchester before him, he’s like ā€˜fuck that, I’m getting on it too’.

A friend put the prices on our WhatsApp group and another friend said ā€œ After the laughter I guess come the tearsā€:rofl::rofl:

Better prices via Co op member pre sales I believe.

I paid £100 for standing by the stage which is a lot but :man_shrugging: C.R.E.A.M so whatyagunnado?
