Supreme

Why not just all watch it on your phones

This is what the people behind the D3 had in mind.

The D3 was natural evolution, it was just progression. Shoes at the time were really technical, so it was natural that some company would push it to the extent that Osiris did.

This is actually something different. I think that’s a pretty important distinction.

You say that because you take it personally but I was just talking about skateboarding and its evolution in general, no beef here.

Strobeck comes up with an original, different, new way of filming, said approach gets big and he takes it one step further adding that tilt. Natural evolution, progression.
Some companies make chunky tech shoes, chunky tech shoes are popular, Osiris take that one step further making the D3. Natural evolution, progression.

Skateboarding is all about trends, no matter what they are, anyway.
Look at (really) baggy jeans, no one wanted to see them anymore 15 or 10 years ago, and now Pontus is selling his Big Boys for 120 dollars.

What are we going to think about the way videos are filmed these days in 10 years? Maybe we’ll think 80% of what comes out these days is unwatchable.
And maybe people will do it again in 2042 because what was cool in 2021 will be vintage and therefore cool then.

I haven’t got much time for mad beef on here today, but I stand by what I said. Maybe I didn’t express it very clearly in the first place. Who cares? Have a good day.

I hope middle-aged isn’t an insult now. That one’s gonna hit hard on this forum.

Gifted Hater just put up a review.

Having just watched the Gifted Hater review it made me wonder what some old parts would look like filmed Strobeck style. Wonder if it’s possible to somehow retrosprectively edit old footage to see.

Would be fun to see Natas’ Wheels of Fire part given the Strobeck treatment. Or if it could be used to remove James Craig’s arms from the screen for example.

You spelt Torey Pudwill wrong…

Can you even do anything about it? If it were selling clothes, I think you’d be able to put a stop to it easily enough…but a chicken shop - even if they are blatantly nicking your logo - I wonder if thats just a fucking headache and best left?

Yeah, pretty sure as long as there’s no question of mixing up the two, it’s not worth bothering about.

Unlike that time I thought I was actually going to meet Her Majesty.

I’d like to think the Supreme lawyer would be able to stop a chicken shop in their tracks with a simple cease and desist letter. You’ll get some idiot that thinks it’s legit and Supreme gave them food poisoning!

It’s definitely illegal to use the queen in any form of adverting and selling without her consent.

*where are my Captain Tom slippers?

I mean its not as if the Supreme logo isnt itself a rip off so theyd hardly have a leg to stand on legally right?

Did Barbara Kruger come up with the Futura font?
