That Evan part was better than I expected and my expectations weren’t exactly low.

Remember thinking he was nuts, no pun intended, when I saw him in Copenhagen.
The dude is evidently incredible but there is just something so stinking about Evan Smith to me. Also I hate full parts with ridiculous long intros. 1:40 in and there’s only been on trick…

Yeah agree Evan Smith is amazing but style/ persona are both stinking and that edit was horrible the whole psychedelic gimmick around him feels so forced

Anti Hero split into 5 companies a few seasons ago. Dawg Shit, Yogrt,Flying Rat, Jalopi, Grimple Stix.

Did loads of guest boards, etc. Jerry Hsu got one…Evan Smith, too - but the Evan Smith thing and the Grimple Stix deal has sort of kept running for some reason.
I guess they are just having fun with it…but it’s Anti Hero.
I quite like that Evan Smith is now more involved but they aren’t saying if he’s on or not…
I don’t get the Evan Smith hate, though. I think the problem he had at Element was that he just isn’t very marketable. He isn’t really the type of guy able to lead the charge for a company…but fuck me, he is an incredible skateboarder.
