The album after that, We were dead etc had some real good tracks on there. I think they lost their ragged, loose lofi sound from albums before good news so I can see why people frown upon newer stuff but the songs are still there to a degree.

I love Modest Mouse, all of their music is perfect IMO.
One thing I like about their discography is that I can be in different moods and all of their music has a place for that. Old or new MM, I’m keen.

I think We we’re dead was their last good album, maybe too polished for some people, but had good songs.
The one after that was pretty poor. It’s like they couldn’t go any further with that refined sound (it’s not like they could be a proper pop cross over) but couldn’t go back to the rougher sound of earlier either
Yeah, I agree. I also think his voice went…he sounds like a poor Modest Mouse cover singer these days.

Searched through a bunch of boxes the other day for a couple of VHS tapes.
Somehow, my copies of Mouse and The Chocolate Tour have gone missing but I have two copies of Creation.

Also see, Alien Workshop in Mindfield era. REAL has an amazing team. I’m stoked that they’re there. I wish my local shop would stock more of their boards, specifically an 8.375!!
I thought that Almost part was shit.

That workshop team is one of my all time favourites, even miley Taylor and berra couldn’t dampen the shine. I prefer workshop arto to flip arto
