How do they size compared to a Nike?
Tbf over the last couple of years an NB UK9 has fit me perfectly. Very similar fit to a Blazer or Dunk really. Maybe I just have weird size 9 feet that fit all shoes perfectly 
Well I also wear the 574 a lot and I get them in a UK 9 as well.

Skateboarding is subjective. SOTY means very, very little, other than the resultant coverage that comes from it.

Agreed. As flawed as SOTY is, being just one magazine’s opinion, it is one of the few consistent markers of who’s killing it and where skating’s at. A big song and dance is made about it, but what else is there to recognise street skaters other than shoe deals etc.?

It’s something fun to talk about. Gets people talking about skateboarders and brands so it must be a good thing.
Probably gets more people watching videos too.

Unless you’re mega pro with questionable sponsors and skate a lot of competitions there’s little reward for killing yourself skating besides doing it for the love.
SOTY is an excellent way to honour the very best.
