The Continually Updated Footage Thread

Did he decide to release it all now or Sponsors?

Right. But even then, the output was singular. So, it’s very different to releasing four parts in SOTY season.

…and just to be clear - I’ll watch all of Suicus parts. He’s a great skateboarder.

This isn’t coming from some hate angle.

It’s not one or the other. It’s both together.
But he’d have a hell of a lot of say as to final product and release.

…and what sponsor is going to turn down branding a Suicu part?

Give him the trophy then retire the notion of SOTY, nobody is ever matching that.

Just here to add that the fakie line at 4:57 in that Suciu part is absolutely fucking fantastic.

Mental stuff. How he doesn’t break himself into pieces every time I have no idea (Chima)

Breaking up this SOTY wanking with some downhome UK content.

Josh Whitehead’s part from the new Huddersfield video ‘Foothills’.

Dude is a proper nutcase - so many fucking crazy rural spots in this, ‘is he going to die?’ style and busted teeth.
Also - a solid dude and part of a sick crew.
Big up West Yorks.

Only just watched this and it was very enjoyable, filmed over 4 days apparently!

Rad, but what the absolute fuck was that tune? Is it lunchtime at a festival in 2003?

Dougie and Helena on Slam now? If so, dope!

Innit.

It says you edited it?

Thrasher are pretty picky about what they post I’m slightly surprised they ok’d that. Was a mission to get the Carve Wicked edit up. There’s hope for other UK skate shops I guess :sunglasses:

Lord Video vibes throughout. Nice one!

I did. Had no say in song, though. Had to use that one. Original edit had a very different tune.
Also, we filmed it in 4 days a couple of weeks ago, hence it being kinda ‘lite’ on footage. but I think those dudes came through.

This is for a collaboration. The CW wasn’t, right?

Thrasher post a lot of UK content, I thought?

Yeah thrasher just seem to make you jump through a lot of hoops if the content isn’t ‘world class’ for want of a better term. I do think they want to represent the UK skate scene but a shop edit like this isn’t 100% their bag. Very stoked to see it though.

Edit - yes ok it’s for a collab…that makes sense.

It’s not a shop ‘edit’ though, per se. It’s an ad for 4-5 items of clothing.
Simply, it is a launch piece for their collaboration with Thrasher so of course Thrasher are going to make some noise on it and hence everyone wearing the clothing in every clip.

And Thrasher didn’t ask for anything at all in respect of hoops to jump through. Sorry if I made it sound that way.

Yeah I get it it’s an ad. That explains it.

Some right good spots in that.
