More that Rodrigo and Maité made appearances in an Element video. Particularly after Maité left Element for Uma not that long ago. Just feels more like an adidas edit.

I think that’s totally fair, but maybe it’s just that they are her friends.
The graphic direction looks way more Element than adi so its not like it is entirely an adi video.
You often find with these projects that brands sometimes end up with a load of clips they don’t need for riders they have no projects with, so rather than have them date they’ll talk with other sponsors to get them out there.
Element turned her pro. adi probably had a bunch of stuff and did a deal…

Tweek put this tasty little tid bit together of some tasty manouvers filmed over at The Slab a cuppa weeks ago on a hot, muggy Saturday afternoon with all the mukkas (even I busted a move or two in this, wahoo).

Shanahanz new shoe promo edited by Brian Panebianco. It’s as banging as you’d expect. Nod to Rick Howard’s Goldfish subway skit at 2:20 ish? And another for Carroll at 6:05 with a couple of tricks over that silver kinked rail with the tiled wall, (and maybe with his tweaked out japan street grab too). After glancing at the new shoe, it looks like there’s heavy ‘inspiration’ taken from both of those guys’ OG DC shoes.

If it wasn’t bed time it would be nice to dig out photos and do a comparison of that shoe next to the huf Dylan reider slip on, side by side with a comparison of other sport specific trainers that were released in the same year as the dc and the huf.
I bet almost all other sports shoes would have minimal change in design and silhouette
