Is this the dude who got banned for match fixing?
He wasn’t directly involved. He got banned for not reporting approaches from bookmakers. Others were banned for longer as they were directly involved and actually took money. He didn’t throw any matches or take any money. He just failed to report the attempted match fixing.
Same deal with cricketers who fail to report attempted match fixing.
Ah I thought he’d actually been caught throwing matches, fair enough. Rooting for him anyway bored of Ronnie and the other old heads

Ronnie is having an absolute meltdown. He will lose with a session to spare if he carries on like this.
He’s been struggling with his cue from what they were saying, made another change last night which obviously hasn’t helped.
Wow, can’t hit a thing can he.
This has to be the worst session he’s ever had? There can’t be many worse than this.
I think he’s mentally checked out after missing that blue off the spot. Just not trying. The match is over.

Zhao Xintong with 9 breaks of over 50 with 2 centuries in 9 frames. That’s phenomenal. You can say Ronnie was off it but that’s world class scoring.
Xintong Trump final could be so good to watch. Only one of the class of 92 left and that’s Williams. I think he’ll run Trump close or even beat him. Could be a classic too.
Did you watch the first session of that match? 
Mark was just throwing Hail Mary’s every frame. He was super lucky not to be 6-2 down or worse.
The century he scored came from nowhere because he looked likely to miss absolutely anything.
I guess being only 2 frames down might give him a bit of belief…
I’m giving Mark some pretty long odds here (which is annoying because I have him at 40/1 pre tournament).
It was a tough watch for any snooker fan this morning. I was wondering if he was going to physically walk out but he did stick it out to be fair.

Shame Mark had such a nightmare start but to get a whole session back to get above double frame figures was amazing and got almost emotional. It ended as it should have but well done Mark Williams. Xintong is really fucking good and nice to watch.
