man all-inclusive is so fucked. either you go high end and pay through the teeth but the food and drink is great. or it’s like some benedorm shit and everything is awful. have yet to experience an inbetween

I think I’ve managed to fluke all inclusive that was in between great and shit but only through total luck. In Cyprus we were getting amazing fresh swordfish steak for lunch but it would be served with local booze that was very obviously watered down. Think of a Cypriot Carling that’s about 2% :face_vomiting:
Cuba was the best, it’s cheap there anywhere but the food was always mint. The staff were all sound too. Just pissed Canadian’s ruining it queueing up at the bar with their own personal enormous beer glasses from 9am and arseholed by 11am

The flight over was one of those old easyJet planes, no tv, no charger just freeballing for 3 hours. I was fine as I had my book but the 60 yr old guy across the aisle from me was just ‘nothing’ for 3 hours. Staring ahead. Didn’t try to sleep, look out the window nothing. Bizarre thing to witness in this day and age.
The 50 yr old in front of him was Mario karting the whole time. Seemed to have unlimited battery. Tongue sticking out getting way too animated whilst taking the corners.

Oh and my missus is ill and has been in bed for 2 days. I’ve been doing my own thing. Quite nice actually. Always wondered how I’d do on a solo holiday.

Have only been to one all inclusive, Sandals in the Bahamas. It was insanely good and no kids.

Oh no kids here either.
I may have saw a baby but that’s it.

As I said earlier, i’m in Gran Canaria, I was gutted I didn’t bring my board as it wouldn’t fit in my case, I had no idea missus had room for the deck and I could have brought the trucks. However, just bought a full setup from the skateshop here and set it up in the apartment while missus has half hour practice.
Deck is a pop trading co, which I have zero idea about and feel bad as it could be a shitty company like Rip n Dip but it was the only one that I felt I could ride dimensions wise.
I might bombard this thread with spot pics over the week.

Edit: looked on Pop website and now even more confused.

‘’ now even more confused. ‘’ - I doubt that these two videos will do much to change that.

Chuckle…

They did some really nice graphics with the amazing Joost Swarte (incredible Dutch comics artist).

ha, nice, well this one is simply a fish smoking. Pretty poor but I put some stickers over it. Nice board though.

Anyone been to Las Palmas that can steer me to the spot in this edit? around 2.20 onwards

Looking at holidays for next year. Anyone been to Albania?

Any good Greek islands, but not your classic touristy ones.

Just somewhere you automatically wouldn’t think to go. Open to any suggestions

We’re giving Malta a try next year, but my go to recommendation is Croatia.

Fucking love Croatia…

Yup Croatia is rad.

Just done Corfu and it was royally shit.
Friend went to Albania and maybe she fucked up but it all looked a bit bleak.

We did Corfu last year. Enjoyed the gyros but otherwise a massive let down.

Depends what you’re looking to do/see when you get there I guess but Lucca in Italy is amazing and most people have never heard of it when we mention it. Stumbled across it doing a car trip from Pisa > Lucca > Florence > random Tuscany towns > Isle of Elba and loved it.

My mates Albanian and sent this list last year for my sister when she was biking through there

Kruja - Kruja castle
Saranda - ksamil, syri kalter
Vlora
Shkoder
Gjirokastra
Theth
Tirana(capital)

Sure she would have some tips also, will ask her if you do decide to go

Well Corfu was on the list so thanks for chalking that off.

Just got back from GC, wanted to skate this morning to skate a spot again before I left but I lost my glasses in the sea when a freak wave smashed me to bottom, ha.
