You’re going to stoke? What are you doing… buying a whole street for £1 per house?

Yeah this

And went for a skate and bumped into @Mike !

How’s the plaza running these days?

Good night and nice to meet you again after Dadlands earlier in the year. Exhausted today though!

@BAGHEADCREW put a rad little spot check edit together :sunglasses:

I had a great night! Took my kids back on Sat afternoon.

FWIW I’ve not been to the Plaza for nearly 10 years despite it being 15 mins away. Took a chunk out of my shin on a ledge one morning and never went back.

I need a holiday! Never been away on my own but kinda fancy it, the first thought is obviously barca but that place would maybe annoy me as I can’t skate the spots how i’d like. Maybe a place where I can skate around and also do some exploring too. Literally just thinking about it now so any ideas welcome. Will have to be Europe because i’d want to be as cheap as possible.

Valencia is a really nice place, more laidback than Barcelona.

Not sure about street skating in Madrid, I know the police were pretty strict about it for a while but otherwise the place is lovely.
Copenhagen, Prague or Berlin maybe? Marseille? Brussels? Amsterdam?

Loads of good DIY spots in Barca if you do go on your own. Stay in poble nou rather than BCN city and there are two spots (a legit park and picnic diy) right on the beach.
Pop into Furtivo skate store too and he can give you more info.
It’s like going to Barca without the nause

thanks

I have always fancied Lisbon since seeing bon appetit. won’t have anything for that cool gap that they all skated now though, ha.
Been to Prague but cruising Stalin would be really fun. Never been to Germany, could be fun. Copenhagen is great but I think i’d want to explore some natural places too, hills, mountains, caves.

Lisbon and Seville were both beautiful places. Lovely friendly locals and everything was well priced.
I actually think Seville has some of the most amazing architecture in the whole of Europe, proper lush.

I did a week of solo missions to letna (Stalin) whilst my first marriage went to shit (way past mendable by that point) and it’s some of my favourite skate memories. The locals are top notch and the journey there and back was always really pleasant.

Edit, just realised you wanted to skate as well. I think Lisbon and Seville would be pretty hard to skate. Didn’t see many spots (There were a few) and the ground is quite cobbled. Lovely places for a holiday though!

+1 recommend for Lisbon - went to a few spots last year:

Campolide is great, super smooth under the motorway DIY
PDG is a train journey up the coast, refurbished 70s park next to the beach
I stayed near Alamda across the river - has quite a few parks & loads of street spots, Kyle Wilson has a line at one of the plazas there
This is a useful guide to street spots around the city.

Lisbon has made spots, just follow the Cats and Triangles stickers around.

I would go Valencia again in heart beat.

Honestly Nantes has spots as well!

Looks like next year’s skate trip has now changed to Sicily

I’ve been twice but not to skate, where’s the best place to stay with spots?
