The TV Thread

I reckon so.

The suspension of reality is something which you need to go into with for most of this show. I dunno…people drive cars but dont know how they work, y’know?

I think it is okay that the computer works in ways they don’t quite understand.
I don’t think they ever said they didn’t have control over it, though. That would be odd.
Unless it was “We don’t know where the story would go”.
It seemed that with users signing up on unread EULA, etc. they very much had control and that was the scary part.

I’m putting too much into trying to convince you because I enjoyed that episode. ha ha

Was it though. How do you hide spoilers again?

Pig Iron is really good.
He’s an ex hardcore kid from near Sunderland - great writer.
Pig Iron is grim but brilliant.

Where the fuck did the werewolf come from

That was the whole point! At the beginning she gets drunk and hits someone under that bridge. The next day she asks what happened and apparently she hit a man which surprises her

Then she appears to be racked with guilt to the point where she looks awful and smashed up that guys house

The twist is that what she hit was a werewolf and it just have bit her etc etc

Loved it. Felt well Joss Whedon

didn’t know he had a NE hardcore background but makes sense - he wrote the sleeve notes for [a folk LP](Trevor Beales - Fireside Stories (Hebden Bridge circa 1971 - 74) - Basin Rock a friend put out recently, a bit more chilled ha

Black Mirror.

Ep 1 - Boring but Salma Hayek was hilarious.

Ep 2 - Absolute banger, creepy as fuck. Also the barman reminds me of Kerr aka lord bean bone.

He was on Radio 4 recently, on Open Book.
Worth a listen.

He also looks like a buff Ed T

Pig Iron was described to me as ‘Pikey Rambo’.

Enjoying black mirror tho the paparazzi one was a yawn fest how many times has that story been done .

Demon 79 was great and loved how one of the characters looked all too much like a young Nigel farage . I’m sure that’s what Brooker was portraying

I loved the Miley one for the NIN covers but yeah that series and that episode in particular are known by most fans as being the worst

This thread has shown me how subjective the show is because my thoughts on the episodes are almost opposite to everyone else :joy:

Not sure if spoiler so I’ll blur it -

when Gaab shows her what the politician is responsible for and it’s every single dystopian society from previous black mirror episodes. Love it
