A mate recommended Kin on iplayer. Irish gangland stuff.

Made me think of Love / Hate…

If you haven’t seen it I can’t recommend it highly enough.
Aiden Gillan, Charlie Murphy, Killian Scott, Brian Gleason, Barry Keoghan…

And Robert Sheehan. Not sure how I forgot him.

They really need to stop making dogshit Agatha Christie adaptations.

Massively hungover today. Didn’t leave the sofa. Binged a series called ‘Fool Me Once’ which we knew was utter shit within the first few minutes but we decided to stick with it as it didn’t take much brain power.

Absolutely shocking series. Bad acting. Bad writing. Don’t waste your time.

New Traitors.

Very interested to see how they avoid that situation of traitors ratting out fellow traitors at the end.

Started Reacher season 2. I know he’s supposed to be good, but he feels a little too good in this one. Plus I just watched him break someone’s arm by head butting it.

Way over the top this time but the T2 Sarah Connor reference and revel was cool, hahah.

Started watching “Fool Me Once” on Netflix. Keegan is so fit it’s distracting

Hammered Shrinking recently. Harrison Ford as a…shrink.

35 min eps, so really digestible. Lotta fun. Worth a peep.

Finished “The Crown” last night. Not a fan of the royals one bit so it’s a bit of hate viewing on my part. But they finished it up well without the usual “she dead” tropes of a clock stopping, a glass being dropped, someone getting a chill like something was wrong, that sort of nonsense.

Pretty sure the writers had Chuck prodding them in the back to make him and Camilla come across as more likeable

I’m not a fan of the Royals one bit and the final season was the weakest for sure…but I feel like the writers were also not fans. Some really harsh stuff in there…

I wouldn’t be able to watch that, I’d get too angry. Fujitsu should be finished as a company.

I did the first episode but I knew my blood pressure wouldn’t be able to take the rest.

New series of True Detective coming out soon in Jan. Jodie Foster as the lead too, so hopefully it’ll be good. The first series was great.

Fingers crossed. The first season deffo the high point. Season 2 was abysmal, absolutely all over the place.

Yeah, couldn’t make it through that series. I lost intrested after the first couple of eps.

Unpopular opinion but I enjoyed the second series. It had one too many characters and it lacked that implied spookiness of the first series, but the characters had good story arcs.

Bloody loved the last series. Watched the first 2 so far and very much enjoying it again!

Dianne is 100% in the firing line!

When it first came out you couldn’t pay me to watch it because it looked so fucking shit (and it is in a lot of ways) but it was probably my favourite show of last year. It’s just a great premise.

I think it’s going to be a bit like Big Brother (nearly 25 years ago!) where the very first people didn’t have a clue how it was going to work so that was the best series.

Not sure how this one will go down. It is looking promising though.

Edit: i have written the same post 1 year apart. Time to hang up the old posting boots i think.

Holy fuck I’m caught up. Shall we make a new thread for unbridled spoilers. This is just as good as the first series.
