I remember being at my first full time job, sat at my desk with the news on the radio and going back and forth on the n26 thread. Absolutely mental day.
Thanks to a @hugo recommendation (via @BDF) we’re a couple of episodes in.
So far so good.
Thank you (again) skateboarding forumers.
I thought Loudermilk was a new thing and only expected there to be half a dozen episodes. Stoked that I’m (very) late to the party and there’s 3 series.
I feel the target age for his music / culture references (& snobbery) - which is a highlight for me.
Traitors is just straight up 10/10.
So bloody good, tonight was absolute perfection
Somebody launched a chair in round table excitement!
First episode of the new True Detective is ticking all the boxes.
I kind of want to live in one of them arctic research places.
Watched a series called fool me once purely for something to watch while eating dinner. AWFUL!
But we perservered for unknown reasons.
Hated the main character straight away so no one was endearing at all apart from Faisal from Four Lions.
anyway, Avoid!
Absolutely terrible wasn’t it. Such a shocker.
Haha that was so shit, the neon lit gun ranges they kept going to was so silly. Didn’t know we had those in the UK.
Traitors nerd out in Brum tomorrow? Haha
Yeah, it’s good isn’t it!
My sister is up in Tromso, Norway, at the moment and she said there’s only a few hours of daylight there right now. I told her not to watch the new series of True Detective till she’s back home as it looks like it could be set there from the pics she sent me.
Suffered through it, absolute dog shite.

Got through S2 of Reacher. I quite enjoyed the first season but this was terrible. None of the humour and that combined with Reacher just straight-up executing people all the time (I mean at least in the first one he seemed to fight them to death a bit more) made the whole thing come off like some sort of demented MAGA wank fantasy.
Yeah he’s a bit like a blonde Terminator in season 2 and not in a good way. When that kid ate the last Clark Bar Reacher looked like he was gonna punch him in the throat.
I couldn’t get over how some mid level cop was some how allowed to okay all the murders, destruction and stealing of national security top secrets with no come back. Plus the whole, ‘you know those people you never met, you have to care about them now that they’ve been murdered’ story.
No.
Harlan Coben shows on Netflix are a stain on TV like Marvel is a stain on Hollywood.
They’re made purely because it’s profitable and everyone laps it up.
FWIW, marvel is cool but the movies are horrible.
BBC and ITV have made way better drama series, quite frequently too. Better written and better acted.
Yeah, they’re like something churned out by AI.
