Scared to watch it to be honest.

yeah, skipping this one.

It’s annoying that I really want to watch it because it sounds incredible, but I just dont have the guts to watch it.

I remember boiling point came on tv and i knew nothing about it, got hooked and had to turn it off because it was just so intense and this sounds way, way more intense.

I notice theres been no White Lotus chat. I guess because there’s almost nothing to talk about this series…

It’s impressive that they’ve filled so much time with so much nothing. I don’t know why I’m sticking with it at this point. Deep in that sunk cost fallacy.

Adolescence isn’t as intense as Boiling Point. As that was set in a kitchen is was always going to be fast paced. Adolescence is slow and emotional. Definitely watch it

And yeah I’ve been enjoying White Lotus but it hasn’t been hitting as hard as the first two series. Walton is great in it though. Dominates any scene without really saying or doing much.

I don’t mind the intenseness, it’s more the parental mindfucks. Got 3 boys and they are getting of certain ages.

I was feeling the same about White Louts S3 until the latest episode, all the stories are coming together so well and it’s slowly reaching boiling point, could possibly be the best series. Also Sam Rockwells monologue was incredible

I’ve got two girls and it wasn’t much easier to watch; they’ll be on the receiving end of it

I got one of each lol

Adolescence was quite a bit darker than I was expecting. I came into it expecting more of a police procedural drama, like Unforgotten or something.
At the beginning there is a theme about the lead detective and his difficult relationship with his son, and I was sort of expecting that to be explored and resolved more.
But actually it goes to much grimmer places.
Very powerful stuff nevertheless.

Hammered Adolescence in one night.
Now my eyes are stinging as I can’t do lates anymore.

Definitely a harrowing watch - but I am glad I saw it. Really emotional piece and shows just how fragile all of this is.

I have a 10 year old daughter so I guess I largely watched with her in mind.
I hope she’s okay through these coming years.

I’m watching Severance right now. It’s Apple TV’s biggest hit ever, and you can see why.

^This guy is on the ol’ ‘wait for season finale day then get a free deal and binge it’ tip and who can blame him

Kinda wish I could go back to 2022 and watch Severance all over again with fresh eyes. It’s so banging

This just shows how much my wife pays attention to tv shows……

We started watching episode 10 of season 2 of Severance and she asks “Who is Kier?”

I find the one shot thing a bit pointless tbh. Don’t feel like it actually adds to the drama or storytelling. Doubt it would be less of a series if it was just shot and edited normally.

Started Severance from the start this evening. Avoiding reading about it on here in case of spoilers. 2 episodes I have absolutely no idea what’s going on, but am loving it!

Signed back up to Netflix last night and did the first episode of Adolescence.

To be honest, didn’t quite meet the hype, but kind of didn’t expect it to.

I didn’t love it but didn’t finish it so can’t really judge properly
