Anyone watching Shifty on iplayer? Adam Curtis. Very good stuff

Yeah was brilliant, liked the break from the usual Curtis voiceover formula too

The theme is pretty far reaching but for me basically there’s a big gap between the way things are presented to us and realty. Some of it is deception and part collective fantasy. Especially how we see ourselves as a nation

Just watched another couple. it’s crazy seeing all these events i remember, from a distance now. Makes me feel a bit sick though

It’s very watchable, even if it feels like he just stitches clips of whatever together to suit his narrative. Also; the 70’s and 80’s have never looked so grim.

Gaza: Doctors under attack is an evening ruiner. Absolutely shocking

But hey, let’s instead re-focus on those punk musicians for saying bad things…

I never realised that The League of Gentlemen made 3 new episodes in 2017.

Watched them tonight.
Enjoyable but kind of just an bit of a brief update and a little closure for some characters.
It does leave it open for more…but they did another live show after that, so maybe it was all wrapped up there?

Anyhow…was nice.

haha. I actually went to see the live again show in 2018 and had no idea about this. all I can remember was that they did the first half in suits like the old days then the second half was costumes and props.

will have to watch these 3 when I get a mo.

That is him

I’ve been watching Squid Game 2 and 3. All I can say is, the Hide & Seek episode is a shocker.

is it him doing a character? ffs

It has to be! not 100% but it’s too freaky to be a different person.

I’m voting real dad. Completely surreal if so.

Real dad, looks like a legit old man neck and all, better than I think the make-up team would bother doing.

That’s the only reason i’m not 100%. Oh, and that he’s somehow taming his top lip to not be Steve Coogans, which is present in all characters when he talks.

The only good ep in third series, rest are pure shite

Just finished Andor 2. About to start Rogue one again. Great film as it was but reckon it’s be better after Andor.
