Has it still got Tom Cullen spelling moon every 10 minutes?

Working for sky I get the full tv package free along with a discount on Netflix. Pay for Disney+ and Prime but can tell you now if I didn’t work for them I wouldn’t be able to afford to have it all. Might sack Disney+ off for a bit now Mandalorian has finished and I’ve rinsed all the good series of The Simpsons.

The latest Mando episode. That is all.

Just watched it. Mind blown, can barely talk. So so so fucking good.

I’m a huge SW nerd but can openly say the last trilogy spoiled it for me sadly. This has fully reignited that love for it all. If anyone wants to nerd out about it without fear of spoiling it for anyone else please feel free to DM me.

Wow!

Been on a spoiler lockdown for the last 24 hours, avoiding everything till I could watch it properly tonight. Honestly, to many emotions right now…

Jon Favreau and Dave Filloni have pretty much just saved Star Wars after Jar Jar Abrams managed to nearly kill it. So so stoked!

There is talk of them (not by anyone at Disney directly), scraping the new trilogy by using the ‘World between worlds’ that is part of Star Wars and it’s looking like it’ll be used at some point soon anyway (for Ahsoka). Easy way to write them out of cannon.

Seen that. Sort of hope that happens, but also just wish I could have some sort of memory wipe so that they never happened to me.

It’s the wasted opportunity to have the original cast together one last time that will always leave a bad taste in fans mouths not matter how they try to fix it. Thankfully it’s back in a good place.

I’m so glad I watched this when I did as umpteen spoilers have just appeared on my feed.

Honestly I felt like I was 5 again during the final act, so good. I love all the fan service they’ve done in this show, all the Easter eggs, mentions to events in other media and in jokes (maklunky), you can tell the production team are all massive nerds too. Hopefully the mouse has taken note and won’t hammer it into the ground.

Yeah that was good.

I enjoyed all the old games like tie fighter, rogue squadron and shadows of the empire. It seemed like there would never be any more films back then to ruin it. Ha.

Is it just me, but is slave 1 the most impractical ship ever designed!

I generally haven’t watched many episodes, but any of the ones I have happened to see this season have featured Santosh. He is the epitome of jolly gentleman. What a wonderful human being!

Got to love watching Masterchef while I ‘cook’ my ham and cheese sandwich or chicken breast with some broccoli.

Same here mate. I really wish It had so much potential, but sadly just ended up taking a lot of wrong turns*.

Just imagine a sequel trilogy in the same style as Rogue One and Mando!

*Yes that was an OT reference #cmoac

re The Mandolorian, everything everyone’s already said, felt like a little kid again watching that, except that I was sobbing more or less uncontrollably by the end. Honestly think they should forget Star Wars films and just keep doing TV, it works so well. I don’t know if they can possibly keep this sort of quality up but whatever happens I’m just so glad we got this.

There are only about 15 or 16 episodes, some only 35 minutes to 45. So I’d say start at the beginning.

Yep. Its a 16 chapter story. Start at the beginning. 45 mins per ep. Pretty mellow…

Just checking everyone watched past the credits for it too, that caught a few people out, haha.

Yeah. What’s your take?
I’ve seen people commenting that it’s another new series, but I think that S3 will be this new “book” until that story is told…

Pretty cool. Means you get stories with endings. Kinda like an anthology series but also has the Doctor Who element of being able to change entire cast when needed.

Hope you’re right as this being the ending would of been great.

Don’t wanna say much more as I don’t wanna spoil it for Mick or anyone else thinking of watching it.

Whatever happens I have no doubt Jon Fav and Dave Filloni will get it right.
