Yeah, I can agree with this. It wasn’t bad at all. I didn’t even mind the dubbing, took a little time but I just imagined a cheesy kung fu film and was ok with it. Some annoying dubbing moments though, the annoying woman especially.
Apparently loads of her lines were really badly translated too, which changed her whole character. Even with subs.
I heard in the Korean version she’s not some crazy crackhead lady like she was portrayed in English. She was actually supposed to be someone who was really smart but never had opportunities. In English she just came off as a kooky weirdo. I have no source for this but choose to believe it because her character was so annoying.

I have subtitles on for everything haha. Even stuff in English. I’ll accept that that is kinda weird

Watched the first few subbed and then had to do dubs because the missus got into it.

Didn’t realise there was a subtitle option! The dubbed poorly acted dialogue has been ruining it for me. It’s not really my kind of thing anyway but that definitely didn’t help.
I’m for subs all the way. Unfortunately other people like looking at their phones…

Watching with subs and it’s well acted. Can see why you’d hate it if watching dubbed.
Exactly why I started with the subtitles years ago. The mrs wasn’t paying attention and then would ask me a question not related to the show. So I’d lazily answer but just focus on reading the text.

So busy waffling about IB sorry. but always subtitles on language films. Even poor lipsynch on English language stuff drives me nuts. Have to pause and start until it synchs up if the stream is off 
I watched Squid with subs too, ended up reading them as I went anyway, did notice discrepancies. Kinda get into the dubbing, it’s funny. Really liked it in Money Heist, took a moment to accept but after that it’s fun.
You watched it dubbed AND with subs?
I heard that’s what you should do with kids learning to read. I guess for adults too then.
Season 3 of narcos Mexico dropped recently had no idea.
