Trick of the week 10 - LA's Feebles

This is me right here. Never met anyone who could Smith or feeble growing up and thus for some reason never did them. Seeing you guys do them on ledges is inspiring, need to get on that

Never even tried them on rails seems terrifying, used to fs Smith rails but no more.

Had a few people say it’s a rare grind on a ledge but I just find them comfortable not much can go wrong I feel, want to try get shove out but could be stinking

They’re pretty easy on rails. Give them a go.

I want to do one with a backside shove out à la D-Gar. 2:42

Yeah may try them on a small rail, yeah bs shove out is the one!! Might give it a go out of a ledge feeble.

Can see if you’re properly on it that you could pop that shuv.
Switch tre just before is lovely.

I can smith rails pretty easily but I don’t think I’ve ever done one on a ledge, they just don’t grind whatever I do

Feebles are way harder for me than they should be I can barely do them at all. I’ll give one a go for this though

Pretty sure you don’t lean backwards enough. Try to do it like if you were doing it on a miniramp coping, if that makes any sense to you.

I need to get my backside Smith grinds back. Those feel so good.

I really want to get my ledge game back even if it was basic. Smiths feels so amazing (both ways)
I’m sure I have only done the odd few on round rails but loads on square ones. They are totally different on ledges, almost a different trick. Rails you can drop on top and grind, ledges you have to lean back and point the fuck out of it.

Yeah I can’t really do those either lol

Back smiths are just incomprehensible

I find dipping them well quite hard as I have big feet and skate small boards. Can’t have that heel dragging on the ledge!
I locked into a few at Mach Giger this morning, I should be able to do them again if I commit. Now I just wish my foot didn’t hurt again. :upside_down_face:

Haven’t had much of a chance to skate lately, got a quick one in last night but I’ve been riding out to our DIY spot a lot and my legs are feeling it, so here’s the lowest impact version of a new variation, weather permitting I’ll get a skate in on Sunday and do something better.

that’s so sick! what a great spot/park as well. every skatepark should have a double-sided curb (i realise i say this on a weekly basis but it’s true)

Now do it with your hands in your pockets.

yeah that’s a winner right there

Oh!!! So sick Geek! Without a doubt in the lead right now for so many reasons - excellent execution being the main one… but I’m gonna give it a few more days so we can hopefully get some more entries in over the weekend. Sunshine tomorrow, up and at 'em people!

This has weirded me out a bit. I told my buddy filming I wasn’t happy with the makes and he said “You could do it with your hands in your pockets?”. Were you in Totton last night?!

Messed about with 360 flip out for a bit but it was hard to get the full 360, same mate said “You could just shuv it flip out?” and I immediately thought of the illegals thread…

@nazoreth I ride almost 30 miles on days I skate this park, and quite often just skate this kerb, almost to the axle on trucks I got 6 months ago, next addition to the DIY spot is gonna be a Daclin style round one, really hoping it works!

we talk about the olympics and facilities and all that but to me one of the biggest problems this country has with skateboarding is the lack of progressive obstacles in parks to learn on. every single parking spot in the US has a double sided parking block that you can wax and learn literally any grind on, we just don’t have that here. i’ve been to ONE skate park in the UK that has a double sided curb. i know i go on about it but it drives me nuts
