Same here, my uncle was a captain for British Airways (retired not dead) and I remember him saying that he always felt really lucky, never had a day when he didn’t look forward to work.
I got as far as taking some flying lessons and loved every minute of it flying the plane I found really easy and fun but all of the reams of stuff that you need to learn in order to be a commercial pilot, I decided that’s just not the sort of thing that I was best at. But I was also about 19 at the time and pretty lazy, so I probably gave up on it too easily.
Who’s got a switch? I’m gonna go get one tomorrow. Would like recommendations for 2 player/coop games that the Mrs will also enjoy. Something else to do during lockdown that isn’t going to the pub.
Mrs got me one for my birthday last year and I bloody love it. Always been a sucker for Nintendo products anyway, but it exceeds everything. Went full nerd and played it with mates in the boozer once.
Strange to say this about a Nintendo console- but if anyone was a Sonic fan from its side scrolling glory, I highly recommend Sonic Mania. Pretty sure it’s on all consoles as a digital download too. Looks and plays like the original, same charm, new levels. The game the Sonic franchise had needed post Sonic & Knuckles.
