My mario kart game is not strong. Not convinced I know what im doing
Decided to replay Beneath a Steel Sky in advance of picking up Beyond a Steel Sky at some point.
Unexpectedly I’m enjoying it just about as much as I remembered.
Who needs a fancy modern console? 13 year old MacBook with ScummVM is all I need!
Downloaded the THPS 1+2 remaster. Menu section feels a bit overly complicated, and I did myself no favours playing SkaterXL first. But was good for the nostalgia side of it.
Wanted to buy it this weekend but £50? Seems a lot for what is just a 20 year old game with slightly better graphics
I watched rad rat playing it on YouTube for a bit last night. I’ll only consider paying money for it when it’s under £9.99.
The ability to revert and bounce off walls is not worth 40 quid of anyones money. Graphics schmafix. Who cares?
The gameplay is basically identical and the challenges are basically identical as well. Pointless cash grab.
I’m more stoked on the new mario all stars coming out on the switch soon.

The 35th anniversary Mario video got me so hyped. Not that I’ll be buying it but have you seen the Mario Kart home tour game they announced. Unreal innovation from Nintendo again!

Played thps2 on an emulator last night and completed it 100% in an hour or so with Koston. Still as fun as ever but I would feel mightily ripped off if I payed 40 quid for the pleasure.

Zelda Breath of the Wild on Switch is so sick. Got a feeling this is going to take me a long time to get through.
I’ve just seen that the new THPS remake has a speed run option. I wasn’t interested in this at all but do you know what that could be absolutely great.

So, anyone getting a PS5 or Xbox Series X/S in November? £449/£359 for the PS5 disc/digital only version and £449/£249 for the same Xbox versions.
Not likely to get either myself to be honest because that’s fucking expensive and I’m broke but I love the look of this game. Controlling a cat with a backpack in a futuristic robot world? Sounds good to me.
Is the a difference? Or is it a simple case of one has a disc drive, the other don’t?
Pretty sure the guts are significantly different. The expensive ones are set up to hit 120fps at 4k, the cheaper ones more like 60fps at 1440p.
