After selling people snowboards I can validate that haha

It’s not cheap that’s for sure, I did two jobs to save for the first time I went and managed to get second hand gear from various people.

It was well worth it though.

That’s a Cardiel quote by the way!

All I can think of when I see snowboarding in the Olympics is “What would Cardiel do?”

The guy can talk too. He turned pro for a snowboard brand once.

Bloody curling.

Imagine the steez on Cardiel if he got into curling. Hucking it with one wrist tweaked backwards, sliding down the ice run with the confidence of a god. Sweeping so hard the surface would melt. Slamming really badly all over the place, the whole arena going “ooooffffff”

sought out the cardiel snowboarding clips and he’s just as majestic doing that. naturally that led onto sight unseen and he’s 360ing a bike over some dirt jumps at the start. one of a kind

I’m sure Penny Classics said they are going to post some footage of him snowboarding BITD soon.

I’m pretty sure Steve Cabellero was one of the most influencial snowboarders ever too.

Snowboarding halfpipe day. Womens qualifications in a few minutes. Mens at 6.30.

Should see some biiiiiiiiig methods in this.

The difference in just over 20 years is pretty funny

so to win gold you just have to chuck another 180 in

Pretty much. It’s kind of dumb.

Maybe in big air.

There’s a bit more freedom in half pipe. The winning run in the last Olympics in that video above is just full computer game madness. You have to respect it.

A chinese girl took a horrific slam earlier. Caught an edge at the bottom and folded her spine in half. Was gross and I hope she’s ok.

Tom Penny snowboarding.

With Doom to boot. Sick.

Wow! So good to see he even had style on the slopes and that’s some respectable air too.

That was mad.

Watched that live ^^^ probably the best thing I’ve seen so far.

Moguls is fine to watch for about 5 minutes every 4 years but I can’t imagine how dull it is to watch it more than that.

They’re all doing exactly the same thing, exactly as good as each other (although I guess you could level that at almost every Olympic sport)

British bloke in first after run 1 of the skeleton.

IOC have banned a Ukrainian minutes before he was about to start for having a rememberance helmet. Took his accreditation away too so he has tl leave all the back stage areas.

Rambling post while I wait for run 2 of the skeleton and avoid making powerpoints.

British guy fucking smashed it on his second run.

Set up beautifully for a 4th run fuck up to finish 4th.
